2 Broke Girls 1.24 “And Martha Steward Have a Ball” Review

May 12, 2012 | No Comment |

This episode is a treat for the die-hard Martha Stewart fans. She was the only highlight of the entire episode. The jokes that were more of irritating than hilarious left the audience asking for a real escape from them. But wherever Martha was given the responsibility of entertaining the audience, she scored perfect ten on ten.

2 Broke Girls Season 1 Episode 24

The episode marked the season’s finale but there was nothing in it that could inspire the people to wait for the next offering. All that it contained was how few characters looked smashing in their party wears and how their desires got bigger wheels in the shape of want of a horse even in the condition of being a complete broke.

The high points of the series are Max and Johnny whose unpredictable moves keep the gossip galleries hot all the time. People love to discuss what they will do next in the series. Perhaps, they are the reason that may attract the audience to tune into the channel once it airs again. As a part of finale, Johnny has outgrown his talent and is being listed among the top earning artists who can afford living in Manhattan and breaking girl’s heart too. Audience feels Max deserves something better than Johnny.

The girls have done their bit of attracting the audience by showing their business acumen and starting a cupcake business venture. How this venture shapes up in the future and how their relationship goes through up and downs during the period of staying together will pull the audience to the next season. In this episode, they were competent to set the rhythm for the episode and showed remarkable increase in their earnings too.

2 broke girls is liked a lot by those people who do not need much effort to get tickled the funny bone. The antics of some characters who use and reuse jokes to keep the environment light may be liked by few but hardly leave any impact on serious audience.

The party sequence somehow managed to entertain the audience where the girls get a chance to slip into the fairy like dresses with the help of character with inspirational tone Sophie. Their song act and the enthusiasm to be in the party cheered up the audience too.

Overall, the series falls into the average category and the makers need to work really hard to set the mood for the next season.
